Separated Parents Information Programme
(PIP for short)
Horsham Child Contact Centre is a provider on behalf of CAFCASS of the Separated Parents Information Programme for the West Sussex area. These programmes are delivered as a result of court order to help parents learn more about the challenges of post separation parenting including the effects on children of ongoing conflict.
It also aims to provide advice and support about how best to help children in this situation and seeks to enable parents to take steps towards their own solutions. Most parents that go on the course say they find it very helpful.
Some key points about PIP:
- PIP is only available to parents as a result of a court order.
- It is not a classic parenting course but deals with post separation parenting and relationships with ex-partner to benefit children.
- The course is free and is run over 2 x 2 hour sessions with a choice of either 2 evenings or a full day on a Friday or Saturday(see below for upcoming session dates)
